Ever dry heaved at track practice? I did on my last 800s last night. So funny. I didn't know it was coming until the last 50 meters. It's a good sign that I am pushing myself. Fun.

Lets see...my schedule says six mile recovery run with 8 x 100 strides. Um, not doing it. My legs still hurt from that half marathon. My ACL...my PCL...my whole entire left knee and its tendons hurts. Instead I floated in the pool.
Since Karen didnt have a moral for her story, here's my moral: Listen to your body. Don't risk injury. Just float.

Second bad race in a row. This time it was stomach issues. Last time it was poor condtions beyond my control. You could also say that stomach issues was also beyond my control. It controlled me during the entire half marathon.
I wasn't feeling good from the start and the more I ran the worse I felt. I had to go to the potty at least four times within the race. Four times!!! My goal race time was 1:45...I ended up finishing at 2:01. What can I say, there's always another race and another half.

Yesterdays track workout was fun. It was 7-12 300 meters repeats @ 10k race pace, with 100 meter of slow, slow, slow jog in between. I have a race on Sunday so I did only 7. Started off at 7:30 pace and ended up @ 6:46 pace. 15:28 timed workout. I had a nice workout treat after...yum.

Today, I ran six miles easy. Nice and slow in nice and cool temperatures..66 degrees. I waited all summer for this. Yes!

I'm not feeling well. I knew something was up two days ago when I took two naps and slept for ten hours. Yesterday, I slept the whole day away and had to get up only to go to school and studied a little, but back to bed I went. Today, I just feel plain icky. I was suppose to do a six mile aerobic run. But ended up doing two miles of walking and jogging...going back to bed.
